We were astounded to learn that Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, & West Virginia had the lowest voter turnout in 2020!

US Voter Age Statistics

And further concerned about the lack of registered voters aged 18 - 24.

Artists

Artist Berkeley Clements

The Let's Stick Together Project is created and organized by artist Berkeley Clements. As an artist and advocate for civic engagement and the importance of voting, Berkeley has embarked on a personal endeavor to collect voting stickers from every state across the nation. Through this project, she aims to raise awareness about the significance of participating in our democratic process and exercising our right to vote.Voting stickers serve as tangible symbols of civic duty and democratic participation. They not only signify an individual's contribution to shaping our collective future but also serve as a reminder of the power and privilege we hold as citizens of a democratic society.By compiling a comprehensive collection of voting stickers from each state, she hopes to foster conversations about the importance of voting, particularly among young people and marginalized communities.Through sharing these stickers (via Instagram @letssticktogetherproject) and the stories behind them, she aims to inspire others to engage in the electoral process and to recognize their role in shaping the future of our nation.Ultimately, she hopes to use these stickers to create a piece of art that fosters awareness. She believes that by coming together and celebrating our shared commitment to democracy, we can create a more informed, engaged, and empowered electorate. As an artist, she realizes the power of our voice and creations and hopes that you will consider participating in this endeavor. Not only would it contribute to the success of her project but also to the broader goal of promoting younger voter participation and civic engagement. She hopes that you will find meaningful ways to join this important cause.
